Cabrillo Format for the JARL World Wide RTTY CONTEST

Date: October 1, 2026 Author: JARL Contest Committee

Cabrillo is a universal contest log submission format proposed by N5KO. That is one of the required formats for e-mailed submission for the JARL World Wide RTTY CONTEST as well as the JARL's original format.

Two versions of the Cabrillo format are currently available. Both version 3.0 and version 2.0 are accepted for the JARL World Wide RTTY Contest; however, the use of version 3.0 is recommended.

The basic Cabrillo specification is described at http://www.kkn.net/~trey/cabrillo/ but there are some additional data items that are defined below for the JARL World Wide RTTY CONTEST.

If you have any question, please contact JARL Contest Committee (contest@jarl.org).
